Pastor Introduction

Meet Pastor Brad Boyd:

Brad grew up in Florida and went to college at Valdosta State University in Georgia, where he earned his B.A., but most importantly became a Christian.  He joined Central Baptist Church in June of 2016 with his wife, Mihoko, and 3 children, Hiromi, Micah, and Mia.  They have been married since 2002. Before coming to Okinawa, he graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity in 2015.  God shaped and molded him through ministry as a missionary in West Africa and East Asia for about 7 years, an associate pastor in Florida for 7 years, and now as our pastor for the past 9 years.  He loves interacting with our church family and living on this beautiful island.
